Experience

Mary Ellen has extensive experience leading human resources in professional associations and law firms. Her interests and expertise include workforce planning, organizational culture, performance management, work/life program implementation such as telework/fully remote. 

Mary Ellen is an executive and career coach.  She has extensive experience using assessments such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Fascination Advantage. She facilitates and leads personal and professional development training, as well as strategic planning and team-building retreats. 

A graduate of the MBA program at University of Maryland University College, Mary Ellen has continued her learning by obtaining certification in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, as well as training in coaching, Lean Six Sigma, advanced facilitation skills and project management.

Mary Ellen holds the highest levels of certification in human resource management from both the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and the ACC credential from International Coaching Federation

Interests

With an undergraduate degree in music performance, Mary Ellen loves singing, as well as listening to music of all genres.  She loves cats, especially Quentin and Goldie.  When not sitting at her desk, Mary Ellen can be found at the Pilates or yoga studio. She is an ISTJ and a proud mother.
